🔥 LATEST NEWS: The Minister of Education Punjab announced in a Facebook post that high-performing CTIs from last year will be granted extensions! Furthermore, DPI Colleges has requested fresh KPI data from all colleges and indicated that candidates with prior CTI experience might receive 5 Extra Merit Marks during any new hiring phases.
CTI Jobs in Punjab 2026
College Teaching Interns (CTIs) are hired by the Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab on a temporary basis to fulfill teaching shortages in government colleges.

Eligibility Criteria (Expected)
- Qualification: Minimum MA / MSc / BS (16 years of education) with 2nd division in the relevant subject.
- Age Limit: There is NO age limit for both male and female candidates.
- Gender: Males, Females, and Transgender individuals are all eligible. Females can apply in both boys and girls colleges. Males can only apply to boys or co-ed colleges.
- Domicile: Only Punjab domicile holders are eligible.
How Merit is Calculated
The CTI merit formula heavily favors candidates with higher degrees (M.Phil/Ph.D) and excellent academic backgrounds. The total marks are 100.
- Education Qualification (BS/MA/MSc) 85 Marks
- Higher Qualification (MS / M.Phil) 05 Marks
- Ph.D 05 Marks
- Position Holders (Board/University) 05 Marks
- Interview Marks 05 Marks

- Updated CV / Resume
- Handwritten application addressed to the Principal of the college
- Attested copies of all educational certificates (Matric, Inter, BS, MA/MSc)
- Attested copy of Domicile & CNIC
- 2 recent passport-size photographs
